1. About this tool

Circularity Case Builder ("the Service", "we", "us") is an online tool that helps CSR and sustainability professionals turn a circular business model into tailored stakeholder pitches. The Service is operated from the Netherlands.

2. AI-generated content — important

Pitches, ROI framings, KPIs, objections, pitfalls and any other written output produced by the Service are generated by large language models on the basis of your inputs and a curated knowledge base of public circular-economy frameworks.

  • Output is illustrative and directional, intended as a starting point for internal discussion — not as investment, financial, legal, tax, regulatory or strategic advice.
  • Output may contain factual errors, outdated information, or claims that do not apply to your specific organisation, market or jurisdiction. Always validate figures, claims and references before using them externally.
  • You are solely responsible for any decision, communication or commitment you make based on the output.
  • The Service does not create a consultant–client, fiduciary or other advisory relationship between you and us.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Submit confidential third-party information you are not allowed to share;
  • Generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading (including "greenwashing" claims you cannot substantiate), or that infringes others' rights;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or disrupt the Service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the inputs you provide and the pitches generated for your account. You grant us a limited licence to process them in order to operate, secure and improve the Service. We do not sell your inputs or pitches to third parties.

5. No warranty · limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service or any output it generates. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 100.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law (including, where applicable, EU consumer law).

6. Privacy notice

We process the following personal data: account email and (optional) display name; the initiative inputs and pitches you create; basic usage events (e.g. page views, "pitch generated") used to improve the product; and technical logs (IP, user-agent) for security and abuse prevention.

Legal bases (GDPR): performance of contract (operating the account and generating pitches), legitimate interest (security, product improvement) and, for non-essential analytics where required, your consent. We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for audit and legal purposes.

Sub-processors include cloud hosting, database and AI model providers used to generate the pitches. Your inputs are sent to these providers only as needed to return a pitch.

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account, contact us at the address in section 8.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

8. Contact & governing law

For questions about these terms or the privacy notice, contact us via the feedback widget inside the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.

This document is a working draft and is pending review by qualified legal counsel in our jurisdiction. It does not constitute legal advice.
